Wanaka Homestead is a small brand new Wanaka hotel offering a choice of lodge or cottage accommodation, just 200m from the shores of Lake Wanaka. The purpose-built Homestead lodge is rather like a Wanaka hotel in its impressive array of facilities and comfort but would more correctly be described as a friendly five bedroom boutique bed and breakfast or "ski lodge". 

Offering facilities and services similar to a larger Wanaka hotel (except for evening meals), this type of purpose-built Wanaka hotel is known in New Zealand as a "boutique lodge". Our Wanaka hotel accommodation is wonderfully located, relatively small, friendly and personable.

There are just ten bedrooms in this Wanaka hotel complex, distributed between three award-winning stone and timber buildings which are environmentally friendly and historically sensitive. Set against a majestic parkland backdrop Wanaka Homestead is also an ideal base for small weddings, and a private and intimate Wanaka hotel venue for groups, conferences or other exclusive bookings. All accommodation is rated "Qualmark 4 star plus" by Tourism New Zealand, has radiant underfloor heating, high build quality and is serviced daily.

Purpose-built for maximum guest comfort, the Homestead offers informal sophistication in five spacious super-king or twin bedrooms. Each guest bedroom has ensuite facilities, fine linen, telephone, writing desk and other special touches designed to make you feel at home. The point of difference for the "master" bedroom is a huge California king bed and double showers and basins. Awaken to coffee aromas and a delicious continental and/or cooked breakfast prepared by your friendly hosts. The comfortable guest lounge is yours to enjoy and by evening is the ideal place to sample a complimentary local wine or beer by the roaring log fire of this friendly little Wanaka hotel. Whether you prefer bed and breakfast or a "room only" option, the facilities are always complimentary and fruit, tea, coffee and treats are bottomless.
